COLLEEN HORNER kitchen •bath •tile •stone and Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design join once again in a new creative venture during Christmas in the Ward. With the support of C. Adam's Bakery from the Milwaukee Public Market, we are proud to present our 1st Annual Gingerbread House Competition.

This creative contest is open to all MIAD students and will be narrowed down to six teams of two and their creations will be judged by three local culinary professionals. The one team with the Gingerbread House crowned most creative will receive prize money from COLLEEN HORNER kitchen •bath •tile •stone .

Congratulations to the winners!  The creativity, as always, was amazing. This talented group of students braved the first "Blizzard" of Winter 2006 to create a very memberable event.  The winner was delivered to the folks at the Third Ward for their auction which raised a very respectable amount for Toys for Tots.  In addition, all of the "Runner-Up" works, were delivered to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa.

Thanks again to everyone that helped make this event a success, and we look forward to next years!
